Digital Speedo

Okay just had my car coded to add the digital speedo feature, very cool. However, it appears to be about 10mph slower at highway speeds than my traditional speedo.

Which one is accurate and why don't the speeds match?

Is it a constant 10mph difference or only at higher speeds? They could have coded "actual" speed for the digital speedo as well which, obviously, displays the actual speed vs "BMW" speed which is always higher than actual. Although, I've done some testing with the roadside speed displays that have shown my speedo to be pretty much dead on at least through 90mph.

digital_v_korr-something, set it to aktiv
You disabled speedo correction, the digital is the "correct" one.

Thanks, never realized my actual speedo is 10mph off. I've passed through those speed zones with radar that tell you how fast you are going and my speedo always seemed to be pretty close.

Do most people set their digital speedo to disable the speedo correction or do they set it up to match the actual speedo?

I turned the speed corrector off, the discrepancy between my needle speedo and real speed always bugged me so I was relieved to learn I could have an alternative, more accurate speedo.

I think there is also an option to disable the correction for the analog (the needle) speedo but that was in NCSDummy, not sure if it actually works.
