Opinion on an independent specialist???

I am new on here and was wondering if I am allowed to ask what experiences or feedback anyone has on an independent specialist called Paddock Garage in Exeter, Devon? I am taking my car to them at the end of the month for a service and possible remap, I got their details from the BMW Car Club so they must be doing something right and I must say the technician I spoke to when booking my car in was excellent, just wanted some other opinions please..... Thanks.

I've used them a number of times and not had any problems with them. Reasonable rates, friendly and seem to be very busy which is always a good sign although they can seem a little too rushed at times. When I've had 'noises' etc they've always taken the time to duplicate and not charged for their time. So from me it's a thumbs up but the judge of a garage is when things go wrong and how they handle it, so we'll see in the future.

There is another garage in exeter www.mbsmercedesbmw.com. I found their rates a bit too expensive for what they are but they seem nice enough.

For other stuff where a specialist is not required, have a look at www.garageexeter.com. Jeff seems really passionate about cars and will be a decent bit cheaper that an indy I suspect.

I'm not sure about remaps, I know paddock use autologic stuff but never heard feedback on remaps from there. Perhaps check if emaps covers the south west.
