e92 angel eyes question
Hello everybody, I've been lurking around on this site for a couple of years now and the time has come to reach out for some personal help.
I own a 2007 e92. I recently purchased some xenon bulbs for the angel eyes and if you refer to the attached photos, I have the following problem. While there are hold on the left and right of the angel eye bulb sockets, on the hole on the right there is a piece of glass which has a purple colour. This results in giving a purple tinge to the light on the side of that angel eye. Is this piece of purple glass standard fit? Maybe the previous owner fitted it.... If so maybe I can remove it somehow. I'm hoping someone on this site can help me out. Thanks in advance! |

That looks like a small "city light" bulb, typically used for EU assemblies, and the purple ring may just be the mounting ring. Maybe someone else can shed some light on the question (ha!), but I don't think the US assemblies have that bulb.
Since you are in Cyprus, good luck to Apoel this week!
