If your looking for a midrange why don't you use this one? Aren't the door speakers the same?

nope
the speakers for the rear deck and center channel don't have the lip around them
here is the door speakers, notice how large the black area around the cone is

and the center/rear deck

i believe the screw holes don't match up either

i added it to mine
you just need the grill cover
do you or are you planning to get a JBL MS-8?
doesn't make much sense to get a center otherwise
i tried with and without it with my MS-8
and it makes a big difference
you can live without it
but its so cheap why not?
