Hi-Fi Radio Question
OK, just had a new Sat radio and the Hi-Fi kit installed by the dealer. My question; is there any way to change the settings on bass and treble other than the standard that is available with the tone controls. I mean, the radio sounds worse that the original basic, and the pass over from bass can be heard with just a pitch variation in a speaking voice. Also, the bong tone for seat belts is not as loud as it was. Is there something that can be done with the actual programming of the radio?
Thanks, Mike |

The dealer should at least try to make it right if you give them the opportunity, don't you think?

I didn't get a good listen until after I had left the dealer. I'm sure they will work on it when I get back to them. The entire computer had to be reprogrammed, and the first radio they installed was defective. As it is, I have the bass setting on the radio at its lowest setting, and the treble at -2. It is the Alpine set-up. What I'm wondering is is there some sort of equalizer associated with the programming?
