How to connect IPod

Heres my situation:

2007 335i E92
Bluetooth
IDrive/Nav etc
CD Chamger
AUX port in arm rest.

Whats the best way to connect my IPod to the car so I can choose songs very controls?

Could you get a bluetooth dongle for the ipod and transmit it that way? Same as your phone connects?

Couldn't find an easy way to do that Chris, I was in the same situation until I bought my current car which has the USB option.

I have found that this works great:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/H2028ZM/A

http://www.xtrememac.com/Detail.aspx?p=1163

I picked up the Extreme Mac at Futureshop last week and find it works very well. I am only using it for A2DP music streaming, not using it for hands free calling. My car has Bluetooth but does not have the USB port. My iPhone 4S will connect to both the car and the Extreme Mac unit at the same time. If I use the phone for a phone call it knows to use the car for hands free, and otherwise it's using the Extreme Mac for A2DP.

Of course this does not allow the car to control the music, but you can just yell at Siri and have her control the music.
