Small accident, advice needed.
Dear all happy Easter!
![]() Just would like to seek some assistance regarding to the small accident happened to me on Wednesday. My boss's friend reversed her suv into my front bonnet while I wasn't in the car. Her insurance is with AAMI. I have the 100 questions and hope someone can share some light. Base on the pic below. Do you think the front bonnet is require replacing? Front bumper too? Is it safe to drive in the heavy rain? Because its her fault, will I be able to choose my own panel beater or her insurance decide? If i can choose, which panel beater is good in Sydney? Is going back to BMW dealer a good idea? Will i be able to get a loan car during repair and invoice to her insurance? Will this classify as accident in my car history and hurt my resale value? Sorry for millions of questions and I really apprecaite your support. My one year anniversary with my car is coming up in 2-1/2 weeks and i hope my chains of bad luck can end soon. Have a safe holiday guys! Peace Regards David

Let me put your mind at ease.
Your rating will not be affected. You can get the car repaired wherever you like and send her the bill - who she is insured with it irrelevant to you - it is her fault. Don't skimp on the repair. If you don't do it properly it will be obvious and your resale will suffer. Don't rip the person off and get extras but do insist on genuine new parts and the paint be done by an authorized BMW repairer |
