Am I too late? LOL JB4 IS FOR NOOBS

OP, I'm assuming you have a serial to USB cable hooked up to a laptop to do datalogs? They are quite helpful to work out how your car is running. The PROcede is packed with features.

Yep I have the rev 3 so has an USB straight out of the procede.

Heaps of features but I'm spending more time tinkering than enjoying actually drivin the car.

Autotuning.....where are you??!!

At what... 115MPH?? A Procede car has done 124MPH... If/when the clutch is sorted do you think the 124MPH car will do a quicker ET than a 115MPH car?

Stuart already mentioned that 24 hour race win with Procede. Plenty of runs on the board for Procede in Oz.

Adrian check out the tuner comparo sticky more jb4's in the 11's than anything else. Plus comparing stock turbos to RB's is not fooling anyone?

I just look at Edwin, for a bloke to get what he does in his garage late at night is truly amazing !

That is cool and all, but you said his was the fastest. Last time I looked 124mph is faster than 115mph. But maybe my Maths is not so good.

Why can't we have someone with proceed and stock turbos have the same power as Edwin? I think thats the point that pavo is trying to make.

It's not really fair to compare Justin's car in the tuner wars as he has upgraded turbos. So it's not exactly like for like.

Steve's will pretty much have to be the one that's got to beat Edwin's to say that proceed is the better/faster tune.

Do you think that you can tune Steve's car to beat Edwins?

I have been on this board since mid 2009, so almost 3 years. Changed usernames since then as my dealer let me know they had been checking out the forums.

Who is Edwin? Who is Steve? I guess I have to attend one of the love in's to find out.

I was one of the first to buy the rev2 version (silver box) off Adrian in 2009. There will always be fans of tunes, usually the fans are those who own the tunes they are praising. After almost 3 years of being tuned I have not had a single powertrain issue running the Procede. Personally I am not so concerned with who runs the most boost, etc, etc, but who makes the most power safely. You don't need much knock, especially in the low to mid range when the motor is really loaded up for something catastrophic to occur.

The last I checked without a CPS module, the JB4 is basically a boost controller. I am not even sure how it goes about controlling lambda/fuel trims.

Its your car, run whatever tune you want, but when you are dealing with the guy who writes the actual code for the Procede such as Adrian, I am pretty confident his "maths' or whatever other tune related info he provides will be spot on.

You proceed boys seem to get all jumpy for some reason :

Personally the timing claims are just that as I am sure the corn Cobb folk would have the high ground in that stakes.

I suppose that would be me, Luster is talking about.
I'm not the type who wants to get into a tuner/Dyno war, but I am confident in a Procede with Adrian's tuning knowledge to be the "safest" way to make power in all rev ranges.
I have been around this car related stuff for quite a while, with many different cars over the years and have learnt to do your homework on all the aspects YOU want out of your car and doing it right the first time and not waste your money on inferior products.
