Is it Bimmer in America, and Beemer every where else? Gosh, this is more fraught than the Porche/Porsch-a pronunciation!

And then in Asia? Here, people call BMWs in Chinese (translated) "Double-B" referring to a BMW or a Benz. And often I hear my car called a BM...as though the W would be too much effort for the day!

And no...let's get this right in the first place..."We want pre-nup, we want pre-nup!"

While I kept my Beemer ('76 R75/6), my bloated early 70's Plymouth Fury went to the ex - a nice example of dispatching 2 birds with one stone!
