If BMW ever reduces pricing, we will surely pass along the savings to you folks. The problem is, that trim is just plain expensive. We have the pricing on our site set as low as possible.

yeah my comment wasn't directed at you guys personally...i order all my OEM parts for both my cars through you guys because of your low prices!

it's just frustrating to me that such a simple part is soo damn expensive. now i've got to cheapen myself and plasti-dip it!

Agreed, these trims are priced awfully high - but unfortunately it is what it is.

From what I understand, high gloss black has some metallic flake to it, and piano black is just a deep gloss black and possibly made of real wood. Not sure tho.

This is the painted plastic trim w/ the colored 'speckle' in the high gloss black finish. The piano black is a deep, dark-gloss black on real wood....much, much more expensive...but we can order it from Germany for those interested. (typically around 1900 dollar range)
