CDV Removal Benefits

Has anybody done a cdv removal on the n55? what are the benefits (and downsides) to doing this and could it be "un-done" (even tho its taking something out, but you know what I mean ) what will I notice after doing this?

I did it, basically makes your shifting faster and a lot smoother ...I did the removal after like a year of having my car and I blew my second gears synchro and I'm pretty sure it had to do w the cdv...and yiull still have the hill assist feature where your car doesn't move back when on a slope

I did it in the second week of owning the car and I recomend it. Makes the shifts faster. Well, apart from the 1-2 shift which is just useless on those gearboxes

Yes, with a jack and some clamps. If you're not using clamps you can just bleed the clutch a bit.
