changing my plugs today with a $5 sears socket..

Driving WOT as I usually do last Friday night, car judders and CEL comes on. Jb4 says its missfire in cyl. 3. I'm at 45k miles, on stock plugs. My bosch plugs will be here today after I get off work. I bought a 14mm 12 pt. Deep socket from sears. Had my machine shop shave the OD to 19mm. I believe this is now a thin walled socket and.will fit. I also hope this fixes my missfire.. I will report back later tonight with conclusions. I'll also post pics of thr.socket if it works to save you DIY'ers Of spending $50 at the dealer for the socket. P.s. burgermotorsports was out of stock.on.their $20 socket .. so I went.this route.

No pics, but the 5$ sears 14mm 12 point socket works for those of you not wanting to spend the extra money on the dealer socket. If you have access to a shop, cut down the O.D. 0.5mm and the socket will fit perfectly.

Take the small magnet out of the sears socket, it could fall into your cylinder. I went in between those tools and went with the Assenmacher socket on Amazon for $23-
