U guys should check out bmwshadowline.com
That's where I got mine from, paid a shop 40 for the install, looks pretty much like paint.. Total came out to around 110 which I think is a pretty good deal! Just be sure to remove the roof rails before the instal!

If your window trim is gloss, I would go with a gloss roof.

I want to do the same to my roof but I was reading about it and according to some of the experts the gloss black vinyl marks very easily (road debris, washing etc). My grills, window trim are matte so I think i'm going to try the matte roof option.

I did painted gloss black roof with matte black trim/grill. I think it looks good. My mom thinks I'm cool.

it's vinyl. you can tell by the dull reflection

just clean it like any other painted part of the car
