How do you adjust the parking brake on an E92?
Yes I searched here and I even googled it.
Bentley Manual says to remove one wheel stud then turn the adjuster but I cant see crap with one removed and yes I rotated the wheel. Same result for both sides. Do I need to take the rims off? I dont see how this would help as the bolt holes would show the same thing no matter what bolt was removed. |

Ok I found it. I think I have the P brake set correctly (3rd try) but its getting dark so I will try again tom. I have to use my wifes XC60 to get to work, how fun.
I might have to replace the parking brake shoes. While trying to get the old rotor off, I sprayed some penetrating oil into the stud holes. Yup the stuff got on the lower pads. |

The E brake still doesnt hold. I thought I adjusted the springs correctly....fully tighten then back off 8 clicks for the coupe.
I doubt that the pad with the oil on it is causing my E brake not to work. I will screw with it today and tonight I will take off the rotor to see what the E brake housing looks like. I could use some ideas. |
