e92 AERO Fron Splitter New

Hi Guys. I have an e92 Front Aero Splitter for sale. Its unpainted and fits a treat. I was going to fit it then ran out of money before spraying it. Then my front bumper was mashed by a shopping trollie so had it replaced with an M Sport Bumper anyway. This has just been sitting around so mayaswell sell it.

120 inc postage ONO.

Cheers. Joe

Didn't think BMW even made one. I thought it was an aftermarket thing. I dont think its genuine no. It was bought from Ameica and shipped over at a silly cost. Got stung bad with import as aparently thats what happens with car parts etc.

Ended up costing me 160 before i even started.

Note to self: Dont Buy From America. Lol

What is it made from?

Any links to where you bought it from to see which brand it is?

I dont remember where it was i bought it from. Iv been looking through emails to see where its from but i have so many emails i cant think where to start looking. I thought i had the site saved on my favorites but apparently not. Lol.

Its made of GRP but its doesn't fit rubbish. It was trimmed and preped to fit perfectly by a body shop near me before painting. He will vouch for fitment if necessary. Then things changed and i ended up with a new bumper.

It looks very much like this one.

I was just trying to find the brand to make sure it was quality materials and fitment.

Looks the same to be fair. Problem is when they come they dont fit. Mine was trimmed and prepped to make sure of fitment which cost me 2 hours labour at 50 per hour. Thats already 100 on top of the price as it stands. Theoretically as it been trimmed and prepped already it will save a fair bit for the buyer from saving on paying for these things themselves. Hence the price.

However it was trimmed to fit YOUR bumper, may not therefore be exact for another one.

Yes BMW do a genuine item which fits perfectly in my experience with no trimming needed. I was very tempted to buy a replica but splashed out on the genuine item after seeing a few misfits from reps. I don't have any regrets and wasn't all that pricey either.

Lol. Ok. All bumpers are the same clearly. It was trimmed to fit an SE bumper. Unless BMW make bumpers that poorly thatthey are all different it will fit regardless of it being fitted from car to car. Found someone near me that may want it anyway and is coming t test fit it before spraying to make sure its ok.Im that sure it will fit i said if it didn't he can have it for nothing. Lol

I'm pretty sure it will only fit e92/e93. I'm interested an aero lip, but i don't have the financial means right now. Just bought some alloys, tyres and lowering springs. good luck with the sale.

Cheers mate. Much appreciated.

I know that can be bought for cheaper etc. But like i said, The wor to make them fit right will cost allot of man hours from a body shop costing a fair bit of money. Its a steal considering all it needs is paint and to be bolted on.

Its even easier actually as they are not bolted on, they are bonded on.

Is it because the angle which picture is taken or is it me but the line that follows just to the side of the numberplate doesnt flow/match up with the lip spoiler (looks slightly out to me? I am not sure if its meant to be like that?)

Think thats the angle. Its the only photo i have and dont want to go to my lock up just to take a better one. If it didn't fit i wouldn't be selling it. Its no biggy if it doesn't go. Im not desperate for the money it was justthati knoew people wanted them and i had one. Lol. You could iether buy it and take a risk even though its fine. Or buy an M Sport front bumper maybe?
