Ordering. Michelin Pilot Super Sport
It seems like the tires have great reviews, looking to replace all four stock Bridgestone Run-flats on my E93 328 with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport non-run-flats.
Will mostly be city and highway driving. Just looking for some final thoughts before I put in my order.. |

I haven't gotten them yet, but one thing I find impressive on top of the performance: 30k warranty when not in a staggered setup--30k is unheard of with an ultra high performance summer tire.
for the rest of us the 30k is slashed in 2 due to the unequal widths. |

Thanks guys, just put my order through Tirerack, $1300 shipped to Canada, taxes, duties all included.
The cheapest I find here in Toronto, Canada is $1750 installed. I think I still save a bit by ordering off Tirerack. |

I have 20,000km on mine and their tread depth still looks like new. Their performance is amazing....far better than the RE-050a RFTs thy replaced. Where are you? I bought a full staggered setup for $1200 from Steelcase in Markham. Cheers D.

I just replaced my run-flats yesterday on my 335 with the Pilot Super Sports. I have only driven them one day, but love them so far. The car rides smoother and is much quieter. I have the sport suspension and the ride seems less stiff, but I here that the effect of the non-run flats. So, I guess my next upgrade is the suspension.

My Porsche CS came with staggered Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 and I've been more than satisfied. The handling is amazing and I got just over 25000 miles before replacing them with an identical set. If you can afford the pay out, they are well worth it.

I have a Continental mobility kit.
Frankly, either the damage/leak is small enough for the kit to seal it temporarily, or I'll be getting a flatbed anyway. I've seen enough idiots on the road swinging past the shoulder that the last thing I'll be doing is messing around with a jack to change the tire by the side of the road. Do I lose sleep over not having a spare tire? Not any more than I lose over not having a spare crank sensor, nor a spare power steering pump, nor a spare windshield, etc... How many people have a spare serpentine belt? Mein 2 pfennig. D.

I just got my Michelin PSS about 3 weeks ago, feeling a little soft, plan on changing up the pressure next time I'm out. I'll try 38 and see if I notice any difference, pretty sure the shop put it at whatever OEM specs said

I'm running PSS too. Yes they are a bit soft, but they have excellent grip without being noisy. Costly yes, but you'll be happy with them
Current psi: 35ft/38rr. Take your pressure during cold part of the day.

Also running PSS and have to agree with the ride and handling quality, including low noise even when pushed hard. The harder compound on the outer shoulders makes the tires stand up well to hard driving and cornering.. If you're worried about flats, especially when out of cell service, just buy the emergency spare kit from someone like BavAuto or Tischer and tie it down in your trunk - it doesn't use too much space. The mileage warranty is icing on the cake.

A weirdo but I'm real though

I have them and they're the best addition to my car so far. Great grip, pretty sharp handling, and comfy. IMHO the best tire for sports sedan/coupe right now.
