Help with rough idling!!

Posted here because I always see most responses here. I have an 06 330i with 66k miles. Today I went to start up my car my car began to shake alot. It came from the engine bay area. Popped the hood to see if I could figure where it came from but couldn't. All maintenance is up to date. Can anyone help? This is a time where in need the bimmer community.

I'm not sure if you'll get a lot of responses on this issue in the n55 forum, maybe you should try the n54 forum.

But since you posted here, I have a few questions to start us off.
1. Is your car tuned
2. Do you have a check engine light on?
3. Can you read codes? If so you should post them up.
4. Did your engine bay get wet?

On a 330 most likely either a coil(s) or VANOS solenoids. You need to read codes
