Would this be better than the waterpump on the n54, or just the same replacement? Isn't the n55 or 1M waterpump stronger/more reliable? I am at 38k and am starting to worry about random failure.

Kind of reviving this thread.
Am getting the dreaded Thermostat mechanics fault code ... and now Waterpump code. So, time to bite the bullet and order up the kit. Many thanks Jason and Evan for the great offer. Hope the free shipping still applies. Mentioned that on the order comments ... just submitted. Cheers guys
