2 Brands, square setup, does front/back mix matter?

Couldn't find anything related...
I'm running a square setup. 2xPirelli and 2xFirestone.

Treadwear is quite different. Does it matter which set are up front and which are out back if I'm looking for oversteer>understeer at the track?

If different I assume I can counter (slightly) with tire pressure?

Pirelli PZero - 220 AA A

Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 - 320 A A

Thanks

Neither link works.

It would help to actually list the tire names instead of just the manufacturers but the obvious question is why are you doing this?

It's not just the different manufacturer treadwear ratings (I'm guessing street tires by what you're listing) but what tread is actually left, the different tread pattern and the different tread wear rate. Defeats the whole purpose of a square setup IMO

Fixed the links.
I had Pirelli P Zero's at all 4 corners but - long story short - I needed two new tires and bought a different brand.
Good point about wear level - the Pirelli's have 1 extra summer on them (2 total, including 2 extra track sessions).
So I have the 2 sets, does it matter which are up front?
Thx.

Here's what's going to happen. First, you should put the sticker of the two tires in the rear. All things being equal, the Pirelli is probably the better candidate for the rear.

HOWEVER. If the Pirelli's your daily, and you've had it for a few years, and it's seen a few events, it may have had quite a few heat cycles on it already and have dropped significantly in grip. It happens. Whether or not it's still got more grip than the Firestones is up for debate.

If this is strictly for street use, I'd say put the Pirelli in the back and be done with it. For track? I'd buy two more pirelli's of the same size and put the NEW tires on the back, and drive on it for at least a hundred miles or two before heading out to the track.

Appreciate the input. Good points to think about...
