Best bet is to take your search online: www.car-part.com

Also, some of the 530s from 2006 had the three stage manifold as well.

www.car-part.com is your best bet, short of cold calling a million places. I, uh, snagged the manifold from the place in Staten Island last week for $200. (Sorry) Make sure you pick "Sedan, from 10/05

Anyway, what you want to do is call the place that has it listed, and ask them to send you photos via email of the part. Compare it to the pics on the forum, and MAKE SURE it has both DISA actuators, since those are about $200 each from Tischer. The place I called seemed perfectly happy to do the photo thing, probably because it reduces any confusion and he's less likely to have to deal with returns.

My transaction went off without a hitch, unfortunately that place doesn't have any more manifolds listed.

Also, waiting for FedEx is the worst thing - my Simon Tool is "on vehicle for delivery"!

Alarbus... are you sure its from 10/05 and not thru 09/05? Reason am asking is cuz the one from 10/05 is showing up as N51.

From 10/05 means it's an E90 part. Through 09/05 means it's an E46 part. You want an E90 part.

The listing is odd, based on shared part numbers, you'll get a lot of 328 hits, including N51 engines. Unfortunately, you'll have to check there a LOT. On the upside, the places seem to be good about updating it, since the one I bought came off the list right away.

Sure thing. I spent about a week looking at the photos other people posted of confirmed "this is the right part".

You can see the difference between the E90 325 and the E90 330 manifolds pretty well here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27729

This thread has some more photos, and part numbers in case anything is broken on what you get: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=381371

Hah, no. My girlfriend and I got diagnosed with mono last week. It's going to be a few more weeks before I can actually DO anything. My boss is cool and letting me work from home so I don't burn sick time, but looking at car forums is about the extent of "car work" I can do right now.

I'm also planning on replacing the spark plugs, since I'm at 100k, and doing the water pump/thermostat, but... yeah. Good times!

And I'm not drinking beer in hopes of recovering faster. Talk about a shitty situation!

From the main page of car-part, you pick 2006 330i, and Intake Manifold, it's on the second page you pick "From 10/05". You'll see a bunch of 328 parts, you don't want those. It's... not that smart of a system.

I'm not too confident I'll end up picking the right one with the way that system is set up. It sneaks in a LOT of unrelated parts that I could end up getting stuck with :/

From the dealer it is a little over a grand I believe for all these parts too.

That's why you ask them to send you a photo. Compare it to know proper manifolds, and if it's not the right one, keep looking!

Makes sense I'm just extra cautious. I just got burned from a seller on here and I'm hoping paypal sides with me. I've got a "no hassles" situation going on right now

I'll try to find something, because the $1k+ at the dealer then the tune is pretty damn expensive for an intake manifold and no labor.

Here are links to two photos, one of each side of the manifold. I labeled them actuators. I also labeled the oil separator, but worst case scenario is that there's one on your car you can use. These are the pics the parts place sent me, I just added the boxes and text.

Once you find one, you should order the gasket set, but that's like $20 from Tischer. Also, assuming everything's attached, you won't need bolts.
