just bought these from TireRack on Thursday, they arrived at my door on Friday, they are amazing tires grip, ride quality, even wet performance were all amongst the best i've experienced

I just put my new SuperSports on my 335i. I LOVE them. Grip is way up from my old PS2s and ride is much better without run flats.

Bought in Calgary for just over $1,500 including tax, install, disposal.
Was going to order from Tirerack, but recommended installers wanted $50/tire for installation which eliminated any price advantage. Also, hard to use road hazzard/warranty if not bought locally. (hope I never need to, but you never know)

Mine were $500 cheaper then a set of the Bridgestone RFT's would have been...The $500 covered the cost of the spare tire kit from Bavauto.

Also check out http://www.discounttiredirect.com. I've purchased tires from these folks a couple of times and sometimes they're a little cheaper than Tirerack because they have free shipping. Tirerack prices are usually the best but when you include $50-$60 or so for shipping, Discounttiredirect can beat them out.

I got my tires last week and have them on for couple days now. One thing I noticed is that it's much softer than the runflats. I was switching over from my winter tires to these so they felt very smooth and much more quieter. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Highly doubt that anyone in Toronto will get these tires installed $1300 without some sort of coupons. I searched high and low to use my Michelin coupons 44% of list and my total balance, installed on my 18 inch BMW rims is $1300 tax incl. Without that advantage you would be in the $1900 region. Tire rack you can get $1300 but not installed or balance, so I didn't go. However I might eat my words if proof for above, but not sure any dealer would be taking huge hit.

Most here will tell you as far as non-RFT, the PSS are about the best there is.

Yes, I also have the PSS on my 97 SL500, 19" staggered setup. They replaced a set of Dunlop Sport Maxx tires. I thought the Dunlop was a very good tire and I thought my choice of 19" wheels and Bilstein HD shocks was wrong for this car. What I learned when I switched to the PSS has just how bad the Dunlop really was for this car and just how little grip they had though out the life of the tire...The SL ride was harsh (not all that different from the E90 on the Bridgestone RFTs) on the Dunlops. With the PSS even my friends comment on how nice the ride is now. Add the nice ride quality to the grip of the PSS...these tires have very good dry grip (I've not used either car in the rain). The SL is transformed and, almost, fun to drive now I don't know how long the PSS lasts compared to other tires I've had recently but if they go more then 10K miles then they are doing better then the Dunlops on the SL, the Sumitomo HTZIII on the E46 I sold in Dec and, as expected, the rear Mich PS2 on the 996 Turbo I parted with in Dec.

The PSS (and I'm sure, many other non-RFT tires) actually turn the E90 from, IMHO, very harsh and not pleasing to drive into something that rides and drives sort of like a real BMW should (I've been an owner since 1985).

I just switched from non-runflat Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions to Michelin PSS (P235/35/19 and P275/30/19). As someone else noted above, I find the ride of the PSS to be very comfortable - much less firm than the Pole Positions. The Michelin's dry grip is superior, but not hugely so. I can't comment on the difference in wet traction.

Just a bit more info on this if you wouldn't mind.

Ride is nice - great.
Grip is better - great.
Noise - will probably be less than the PP or the same, the PP was fine.

Compared to the Pole Position - How is the cornering:
1) Initial turn in
2) Mid corner grip
3) at the limit grip
4) steering response - did you find the steer response quicker than the PP if you wiggle the wheel back and forth?

I switched from Yoko Advan AD08's and while I think the PSS are excellent and would definitely recommend them, I don't think they are dramatically better. I'm guessing/hoping they wear better and I don't remember exactly but I want to say that in 19's they were similarly priced - maybe even a bit less.

So i got my alignment done after installing these brand new tires. But the problem is that when the steering wheel is dead straight, the car pulls to the left a bit. Should I go back to my alignment shop?

Got my pss. Got from discount tire. Paid 1250 including tax, insurance, install and balance. I called tire rack and they were polite but would not price match. My local discount tire was not only polite but price matched to online tire.com and had the tires in the next night. I am glad I went with a local shop because tire rack's warranty requires you to ship the tire back which would be a major pia! Before buying online I recommend you call your local dealers for a price match.

Not sure how I feel about the tires yet. Will keep u guys posted.

I just swapped over to the SS tires and I love them. more grip and softer quieter ride.
