Boise Idaho guy checking in - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I've been lurking for quite some time, finally made an account after purchasing my e90 335xi a couple months ago.

The mod bug bit me pretty early. So far i have purchased and installed just a few things

Ccw Classics race swiss series 255/35 18x10 up front with 295/30 18x11.5 rear
Kw v1 coil overs
Cpe catless downpipes
Hpf exhaust (not on car yet)
ets 5' Fmic
cobb accesssport
Afe duel cone intakes

Had to roll the rear fenders a little bit, alas I may have to cut.

I spent the weekend putting most of this on. Last weekend was coilovers and wheels, this weekend went like this, Friday, downpipes, Saturday, intakes, sunday fmic and roll the fenders and lowered the front another 1/4 inch.

Happy to see some locals on here as well.

do you have your own fender-roll kit or is that borrowed/a shop's?

It belongs to a good friend of mine. He rolls fenders for a lot of the locals around here.

June 16th - Leavenworth Charity Drive. Basically we will meet up for breakfast, rendezvous at Bellevue Community College where at least 500 other cars will be, and then eventually mob out to Leavenworth! Should be fun. Check out our BimmerpostNW Facebook page for event details and what not.

stievo, I'm in Boise, I am new, just registered today. I'm a forum transplant from M3 forum.
Enjoyed the E46 ///M3 for three years and now I'm in my E90, just got it on friday from Peterson's. 328xi.

Boise, ID too. I have a 2011 Space Grey M3 Sedan (formerly a Jerez Black M3 Sedan).

edit: if you see a Melbourne Red E93 M3 with 19's and Bamboo interior, that's my dad!

I'm temporarily relocating to Boise (gf is there for school) and likely bringing my E93 M3.

Question: Are winter tires recommended/necessary? Being a California guy I have no idea what I'm getting myself into.

lately the roads have been horrible. lots of freezing rain. my buddy is having alot of issues getting around in his 335i. i would recommend snow tires for your M
