Wheel studs need advice
Well, I have been searching and doing my research on this topic for the past several days now. I have given up on trying to figure this one out on my own.
Looking to get a set of wheel studs, probably from Turner Motor Sports. The question is what size? I'm leaning towards 75mm, but my VMR718's have an almost perfect fit with the way they sit. I do not think I will ever use spacers as I believe these rims are sitting at or near an ET45. I bought this car from a previous owner so not sure on the ET, I think my calculations are close though. Vehicle will be dropped on KWV3 before the end of May for the summer, not sure if that changes anything. Front - 235/35/19 19x8.5 ET40/45? Rear - 265/30/19 19x9.5 ET45 Lugs are Muteki Burning Blue 48mm If no spacers needed, do I need to get 75mm? Will they stick out a bit? Would a 45/55mm wheel stud work? Below are the pics. Thank you for any help/advice. Biggest worry is if I go 75mm will they stick out too far in the front/rear and take away from the lug nut/overall look of the car? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Well, I guess I answered my own question.
I used this guide from Turner Motor Sports to figure it out. After you deduct the threads that go into the hub, the part that is covered with the rim, you are left with roughly 49mm. With a 48mm lug nut that should leave barely anything left sticking out. I will post pics once I get these installed later this week. Ordering the 75mm studs from Turner. ![]() |

Would like to thank Kevin at EAS for his help and great customer support on these. Great price and arrived on-time. These were really easy to install and wroth the effort. I also like the look of the new lug nuts. The 73mm studs are flush with the lug nut, which is what I wanted. Any further and it would look pretty ghetto imo.
