I did two logs in second gear from about 2500 RPMs to around 6500RPMs. Im running COBB stage 2+FMIC aggressive 93 oct. with stock throttle. Can someone possibly graph these and tell me what they look like? I dont know what any of these data logs are telling me. I did send them to COBB but thought Id also get some info from the forum members.

EDIT. Well its not letting me attach CSV files. Says they are invalid. How do I attach these logs? Thanks for everyones help.

YA WHEN I SAVED THE GRAPH IT HAD THE LABELS NOW THEY ARENT ON THE ATTACHMENT. ILL TRY AGAIN LATER ON.

You need to do the logs in 3rd shifting to 4th for the feedback to be of any use.

Oh Im didnt know that. THe guys from COBB told me to just do a third gear pull. Maybe I should shift into fourth and log again.

This link is the one I used for the graph above. When I graphed it, all the parameters were off to the left of the graph. But when I save it to my computer and attach it to this site, all the parameters are gone. All is left is he graph with different colors and no descriptions. WHat am I doing wrong?

Virtual Dyno is great, but I'm telling you, if your only objective is to make a chart for others to look at, just paste the contents of your CSV into the web link I posted above. Select Time as the X axis, most or all of the stuff on the y axis, and you'll get a postable image.

The link you posted is actually the one Im trying to use now. LOL Ive pasted my log into wordpad like it says. Then paste it into the box in the link you provided, then I hit graph and nothing happens. No graph no nothing. So I start over and hit graph before I paste and it allows me to select x or y axis. I choose x and then it doesnt allow me to paste my log. Im not sure whats going on.

Which log. The one you posted, or your CSV? The txt file you posted isn't in CSV format.

1) Open your CSV using notepad, not wordpad.
2) select all, copy to clipboard
3) visit link
4) empty clipboard into the little box, click graph
5) you'll see two columns and all your option. under the column "X-axis", select Time. Under the "Y-axis" column, select all of the checkboxes
6) Click OK, an image with a black background will appear underneath the box you pasted your data into.

Unfortunately, I'm still learning how to differentiate a good run versus a bad one, but I see:

a) only one gear being logged. Ideally 2 or more are preferred, I think 3rd and 4th are the favorites, though it can be difficult since you're going pretty fast at the end of 4th.
b) no timing corrections, which is good. Timing corrections happen when your tune is too aggressive or your gas is too crappy.
c) inlet air temperature looks good
d) some minor throttle closures at the beginning. Was your DSC on? DSC is usually the culprit, so its recommended to turn it off while you do data logs.

FYI, I also didn't turn on all the options you logged. Someone please chime in if they need something I deselected.

Thanks alot for your help on this thread. I greatly appreciate it. I wanted to do some logs because Ive only been using stage 2+FMIC for a few weeks and wanted to make sure everything is working properly. Im glad to hear things that you noticed are pretty good. And I had the DSC off. Maybe I was somehow feathering the throttle for some reason lol. But thats kind of another reason I did some logs. When I get of the gas hard, it seems as if the car "stutters" through the rpms a bit. Nothing totally major. But it just feels as if there isnt a smooth delivery. Just a bit choppy as the rmps go higher.

timing not being pull on cylinder 1 does not mean all cylinders are happy. Cyl 1 is normally the happiest of them all.
I would log always 1-2-5 at least. Best is all of them.
