I run 365whp on a dynojet with just the JB4 Map 2 on 94 octane & no other options, would have expected at least 385whp with those mods

Made a peak of 413/446. Mods are Procede Rev 3, PWM Meth (49/51 Boost Juice), DCI and RR 2.5" DPs.
Run 3 is the standard 11-25 map settings at 65 start boost (16.5 psi). Interesting that on Run 4 (not shown here) I increased start boost to 70 (17psi) and I lost 5 HP. Runs 7 and 12 are a customized boost map. I took logs of all runs. The unsprung weight of my rear wheels (29.3 pounds) is robbing power quite a bit.

85*degree ambient temp on a Dynojet 248c
-im running JB4 18-0hm 16.5-17-psi (stock turbos)75k miles -meth additive set a 60 -3-gallons of 93'oct and 3-gallons of e-85 -fullbolt on's fmic,full exhaust,R-R dp's, -bms ww kit (fire extinguisher was on stand by lol) 90%meth my buddy with a 2008 gt-turbo Gti made 317whp 275 wtq on a mustang earlier this year his readings were pretty close at 327whp 281wtq im guessing my car makes 410-420whp and 460-ish on a diffrent dyno im taking it to a mustang dyno to do a few baselines and run my 15-ohm mod next weekend ill keep you guys updated with logs next time enjoy ![]()

So I dynoed my car a 07 AT today on a Dynojet 224XLC. I wanted a baseline before I installed DP's and FMIC. I only have the JB4 and DCI install. I am running a 50/50 mix. I was hoping to Break 400 but only hit 382.3 rwhp and 439.0 rwtq.
The Dyno only had a small fan so heat soak was a issue. I did a total of 7 pulls. 1 in 3rd gear to check everything out then 5 in 4th gear on map 5 and 1 in 4th gear on map 0 for a baseline. AS A NOTE I HAVE A DINAN STG2 Flash that was on the car when I bought it used so the "baseline" is high. I have a VRSF FMIC and DP on order and will dyno again to see the gains. ![]() ![]() |

09 335i 6MT JB4 G5 + FBO + 80/20 meth + 50/50 e85/93 70 add baseline was 257/283 map 3 pull was 406/480 That's a 149/197 delta.... Not bad!!!!!!

hot summer day reaching 90 degrees in middle of August.
Not sure what the humidity was...located in NJ about 15 mins from Sandy Hook. 2008 335i e92 Stock parts with Stage 1 Cobb AccessPort Green = Sport map (91 oct) Red = Aggressive map (93 oct) No real baseline unfortunately. First run was also Sport map making 316/365 ish Second run was Sport map making 317/385 Operator wanted me to switch to Aggressive map so we switched during cool down time. I guess it needed to learn? Torque numbers are on far right...got cut off :/ I'm not sure how Dyno Dynamics' dynos work. I asked a couple of the tuners at the shop that the reason it has a "Flywheel" readout is because it's "Australian" and told me rest assured that it is measuring at the wheels. Someone enlighten me on Dyno Dynamics? ![]() ![]()

Hi guys. Just bought a 335i and want more power. I was looking at just a JB4 and cone filters to start with. Over here it would be on 97ron [93 oct] What sort of figures could i expect?

My Stupid-Wild-Assed-Guess, based on what I'm seeing in various charts showing various different bolt-ons, fuel types, and tunes, is about 355-360whp on Map5, DCI, and 93 oct. Add a set of downpipes and an aftermarket FMIC, and you approach 390whp or so. Opinions from more experienced and knowledgeable folks? |
