What does iA stand for? Automatic? And what the hell is up with that paint job, is it the 'frozen paint scheme' that is optional?

Seems this is targeting A7 and the CLS class.

It has more standard equipment than either of them.

For the coupe it doesn't make sense at all. For the Gran Coupe it competes with A7/CLS. It makes up the price difference by a higher standard spec.

Garage List
I was there last weekend and I am pretty sure I will be ordering one in 6 months or so.

I will get this over the A7 because it has practically every option I want from the factory. As many of you know, it is very expensive in HK to add any options over the base model and the options are worth nothing during resale.

Some standard highlights:
* 19" wheels
* hifi professional (not B&O)
* LED adaptive lights
* rear+surround camera view
* comfort access
* sunroof

You add these options to a 535i and you are talking close to 200k in options. And to me this car is significantly sportier in terms of looks/stance and the interior seems nicer than a 7.

I will probably custom order one with just one option--navigation professional. I have nav professional now, and won't consider another bmw without it.

For 640i the Professional speaker system is optional, hi-fi speaker system being standard.
For me, if I order one I'll have the following options:

-Sport seats
-Dynamic Damping Control
-Professional speaker system
-HUD
-Black headliner
-Shadowline

Comes to $1.16m exactly.

Is it really worth getting HUD without Navigation? just for speed display?

Yes, as BMW doesn't offer digital speedo on it's MID. Prof Nav is no use to me in HK anyway - Google Map + Street View is much more useful.
