Just got back from the track.. Mid 12's stock?
I'll get the timeslip uploaded, but what is the current stock record of a stock N54 car. is/i model?
I ran a 12.7 at 108mph with a horrible 1.93 60ft.. What do you guys think is the potential there? Considering I'm all stock it's mighty impressive as some JB4/Procede guys were there, scratching their heads as they were running the same times, although slower most of the time. Edit: Timeslip.. I'm on the right. ![]()

We used to have two tracks in my city and one would consistently give 2.5mph higher trap speeds. P.S. quit bragging, 1.93 isn't a horrible 60' if you're on normal street tires! ![]() |

Wow that's really good, I'm assuming the DCT may have assisted you in achieving such a great time and trap.

My best stock for a 2008 e92 MT on stock RFTs and pump gas was 13.31 @ 104.6. And I had probably 100 passes stock (granted MT on RFTs is no easy task to launch). If you did a 12.7 @ 108 that would be ridiculously awesome.

Half a tank. DCT. One of them was a Z4 35i. Not an is like mine.
Kumho SPT's. I just honestly think if I got a 1.7 60ft.. I'd get a 12.6 or maybe even a 12.59 or something.. I feel the potential the car has, and the DCT does wonders. One run.. I did a 2.087 60ft.. ran a 12.98. Dropped it to a 1.93, then ran a 12.789. I did run another 12.796 but with a 1.98 60ft.

Congrats on the good times!
The "is" cars are normally are faster then an "i", are they not? And how much do the Z4's weigh anyway?

Well they are faster, but not by much. i don't see how I can trap 108. I even trapped 109 on one run! When the stock DCT Z4 35i there was trapping 103, then plugged in his JB4 and ran a 107 trap. 5 miles an hour difference?

I think it makes sense given the boost levels of an IS.
Here's my dyno log of my 335i N54 on Map 0. 7.5psi max tapering to 4.4psi at redline. What does an IS boost? I hear 12-14psi max tapering to 7-8psi at redline. Plus this in a little Z4 with a 7-speed DCT.

The time slip is at home, I'll take a pic when i get off work in about an hour. But I remember it very nicely.. 1.93 60ft, 8.2 1/8th mile, 93mph? 1/8th, 12.789 at 108.14mph.
:P

They do a roll out. Which can help considerably with the DCT as mash-the-pedal mode shoots the RPMS up like crazy, giving an insane launch.
The track is very accurate, there was other N54 cars running there at the time. A stock 335i ran a 13.3 at 103 with a 1.9 60 ft.

If his gross sticker weight is around what he says then it is very possible on over boost with my method of LC .
