radio display

i have a prob with my radio sometimes it happens other times its ok and happens after driving for some time.

any idea what's happening?

Mines does exactly the same, worse on hot days for some reason.

Yup exactly the same, Today we have seen 29c and its the worst ive seen it. It actually bothers me so wanted to know if there was an easy fix

hmm the old bmw displays were prone to pixels dropping out, my old E39 suffered the same, wondering if this is happening again?

I just stick mine onto the clock as a habit now, it doesn't p**s me off as much

I've had that same problem, ended up changing the radio LCD. Not too bad a job if you know what you're doing, or get a specialist to change it if you don't have an electronics workshop handy .

Mine did the same thing. Got the head unit replaced under warranty.
