If so, will this be a good rule of thumb to have a 50/50 blend:
Full tank - No fuel need
3/4 tank - 2 gallons of e85 & 2 gallons of 91+
1/2 tank - 4 gallons of e85 & 4 gallons of 91+
1/4 tank - 6 gallons of e85 & 6 gallons of 91+
Empty tank - 8 gallons of e85 & 8 gallons of 91+

I myself like to use Shell gas station (93 octane) when ever possible and its about 10 miles from the nearest e85 station. In this case, which station do I fill first and will this be safe running the map until I reach the 2nd location?

Thanks
In CA, e85 stations are also regular gasoline stations. So all you end up doing is using two pump in the same location and just pour in the same amount of fuel from each.

If your e85 station doesn't sell gasoline, then you can just drive over to one that does in Map0 (stock) and then switch over to the performance map when you have the correct mix in there.

It's a promotion/stock clearance. Pretty common in the retail world Once they run out of Rev 2.5's, that's it!

Are you sure you're not taking the mickey?

The differences are clear and the 2.5 cost less, if one doesn't own a Procede and wanted to give it a go and he doesn't want the new features the Rev 3 offers its a great deal. But I clearly see that you just want to troll so I will stop feeding you.
So you're saying the changes (that you said shiv isn't even using) are worth almost half of the price? Even though its being sold as a comparable unit?

I wish Vishnu would just sell a Rev 3 Vin Unlocked like a normal company.

Rev3 allows for the following which rev2.5 does not:

-allows PWM meth AND speed delimit at same time
-allows for NLS
-allows for 2-step
-allows USB connectivity
-has more I/O channels for things like external wideband or secondary MAP (rev2.5 does have some I/O channels, but not as many so to do some of this stuff you may have to trade something else out). This also allows for future additions that 2.5 may not have the capacity for.

I know, I just want it to be clear for most people here because I know it will confuse some users here especially if they're filling there tanks for the first time with e85 and just having premium fuel already in their tanks.

Thanks. They do here too, but generic stations. I found the Shell & Mobil/Exxon in my area are the best fuel to use in this application (N54).

A friend of mines found water on both his car tanks after using a local Getty station.

Yikes. I haven't been to a Getty in over a decade. Last time I saw one was when lived in NJ.

Also, I sent you a PM a little while ago with some new info for your nice Tune Comparison chart. Not sure if you got it.

Most of the Getty stations are being replaced with LukOil in the Tri-State area but not doing anything to their tanks underground (Just Re-Branding) their signs.

Yep. I got it. I sent you a reply a while ago. I'm working on the new addition from all camps.

I hope must of these early developments leads to a map that autotunes down the road so we don't have to worry about maps or mixture of fuel we use.

Very tempting....I've had JB4 and currently COBB.
Sounds like I might have to do a comparison review soon.

These new maps are NO joke, that's for sure!

I actually felt a little scared when I did a 2-3-4 gear pull...

When I first tried them with the default settings my car only boosted around 16.5 psi, so I've tweaked them a bit (Start Boost 85 and Boost Control Gain 50).
These settings gives me 18.3 psi in the midrange tapering down to 15.6 psi at 6500 rpm.

I usually don't feel any major differences with new maps, but these new maps are different!
So, to all PROcede users out there; Just try these new maps, you'll be surprised.
Good info, perhaps this is a good time to move from V4 to V5 then since there is finally a performance increase to expect

hmmm seems like the 2.5 wont be determined obsolete for awhile since the single turbo car is using one... very tempting.

Dyno

So what are dyno #s difference now between the JB4 and the Procede with the procede coming out with this new map? So will the dyno comparison chart have to be done over?? Proof is in the pudding i would like to see similar modded cars with diff tunes manufactuers (Procede vs JB4) go head to head since both have new E85 Tunes.

Shiv,

I tried calling earlier but may be getting bad service in my area. I emailed to get an upgrade form from v4-v5. Let me know if you guys can send me the form ASAP so I can get it done.

The Procede is capable of advancing ignition advance targets. The JB4, AFAIK, is not. Even when equipped with the CPS module. The only advance they can induce is from making the DME think its in an underboost condition which is only a short-term option since prolonged underboost condition (perceived or otherwise) will result in a limp mode. And most are already away of the differences in boost control performance between the Procede and JB4 (or any other tune for that matter). The Procede is, quite frankly, the perfect hardware platform when it comes to this kind of tune.

How many do you have left? I'm torn between Rev 2.5 and 3 since I'm 6MT. NLS and 2-step are attractive, but is it worth the $250 price difference?

We have around 100 units left. We had 140 this morning. Go ahead with Rev2.5 and safe your money. If you want the NLS 2-step later on (say when you get a single turbo and run on slicks), you can always sell it and get a Rev3.
