This should be moved to the general BMW topics section but I think I can help. The 330 and 325 had the same motor but the 330 (I believe) had a magnesium block and was tuned to produce 255hp vs. the 325's 215. 18k should get you a more than decent condition 330. Black, 6 speed, and 162 wheels with sport suspension and you're good!

What he said but if you find a good deal you migh as well get a 335i and tune it for 300$
