M135i

So.. I've been working with Auto Classic for the last few weeks to finalise an order for an F30 328i (cant afford another 335i).. and today my salesman calls me up to say they have just confirmed M135i pricing and would I like to order that instead (he knew that I was keen on retaining the I6, but couldnt afford the new 335i)

Bastard has me on the hook now, and having looked at the specs and images I'm pretty keen..

The 328i was going to be an M-Sport in Estoril Blue, thinking the same in the F20

In white:

For under 80k, thats a pretty tempting reason to sell the 335.. thoughts?

Apart from its fugliness I suppose it makes a compelling argument. However are you ok with giving up the N54?

N55 has one thing over an N54 (and only one thing).. overrun crackle!

Whilst I wont get the same HP, I'm not even at FBO on my N54 now, and my track car is well on its way to 400hp anyway (and weighs a tonne) so the BMW be it N54 or N55 is not going to be as quick..

So Yes, I think (think) so..

I'm not sure about the front end of any of the F20/30's yet.. but what are the options.. S3 (Old), A45 (FUGLY), STi (No thanks)

You should drive the M135i before making a decision. Maybe try a Lexus IS350 too.

I love the F30.

Even in base model guise, 320i, it's brilliant.

I will go price up a 328i and with a few options, see how close it gets to 335i pricing but default choice is the 328i with Msport.

Did they give you an ETA on delivery for the F30 Msport?
Do you know if the MY13 models will have a different nav screen?

MY13 has the same screen, different software layout.. F30 Sport is building from July, I was quoted an October/November delivery if ordered in the next few weeks.

I'd be tempted to wait for an Oct build to take advantage of MY13 updates.
