You have to set the values for:

KOMFORT_EJECT
nicht_aktiv -> aktiv
ER_KEYOUT_AUTOVR
nicht_aktiv -> aktiv

KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB (window up through key fob)
aktiv
KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA (window up through comfort access)
aktiv

ASP_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP (MY09-11)
aktiv
SPIEGEL_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP (MY07-08)
aktiv

I did all of that coding on the e93 and when i finished and held the door handle, or the lock button on the fob the top went right up.
But your car has Comfort Access from factory, right?
Your roof doesn't need to be coded for opening through the FOB. You can do that from the first day that it came out of the store...

But your CTM psw_fsw could be very useful for them.

Jordan, I am going to compare my CTM with yours (better than wait for my friend's CTM)

2010 BMW 335i  [0.00]
Hey guys, I have an 2010 e93 but I never had the option to open windows with keyfob, I was able to code to close hardtop and windows with the help of a friend but I'm still unable to find the code in the FRM to open my hardtop and windows, nor can I code away my LCI taillight error code and other codes that are missing such as corner delete, folding side view mirror w/ fob, etc. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi Jose,

I have the same issue with a 2012 E93 325. The normal folding mirror options in NFRM didn't work for me. May I know which link you referred to ? I can only see the youtube link which i've already subscribed. Thanks a lot!

All I can do with mine is folding mirrors. I can roll down the windows nor open my roof. I tried them all, so from the video I called it complete BS without CA. Until I see a car in person without CA is when I will believe it.

These are the values I used:

Quote:
CAS:
- KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB -> AKTIV (This allows communication between CAS and CTM when closing by FOB)

CTM:
- KOMFORT_LADE_POSITION -> AKTIV (This enables Comfort Access to the trunk, double click and hold trunk botton on FOB, it is aktive by default)
- KOMFORT_SCHLIESS_FBD -> AKTIV (This enables remote komfort close operation (roof goes up from FOB, BUT NOT WINDOWS))
- SCHEIBEN_ANHEB_OEFF_FBD -> AKTIV (NOT SURE but I think that this parameter allows you to close windows when roof have finished to OPEN from FOB)
- SCHEIBEN_ANHEB_SCHL_FBD -> AKTIV (NOT SURE but I think that this parameter allows you to close windows when roof have finished to CLOSE from FOB, important because if you dont change it, your windows remain opened when you close the roof...)
- SCHEIBEN_KOMPL_OEFF_IDG -> AKTIV (NOT SURE allows you to open completly open the roof from drivers lock, I dont know what 'completly' means)
- SCHEIBEN_KOMPL_SCHL_IDG ->AKTIV (NOT SURE allows you to open completly open the roof from drivers lock, I dont know what 'completly' means)

Others features:
- KOMFORT_STOP_LADE_POS -> AKTIVE (If you are closing the roof, it stops al lade-position which is when the roof is all out, the trunk is closed but the roof is folded above rear seats, you have to release and hold again close button for finish the entire process... ) For your info..., but I think it is totally useless

For remote closing the roof you only need this three:
KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB
KOMFORT_SCHLIESS_FBD
SCHEIBEN_ANHEB_SCHL_FBD
But I have to advice that my dealer upgrade all my modules and now I cannot close the roof from FOB anymore... so maybe is the CTM firmware which is blocking remote closing.

Jose, thanks soooooo much! I will try the codes on my car. It's a 2011 E93 325, not sure if the firmware of the CTM has been upgraded to the version you mentioned but I would try the values first.

BTW, is te outside mirror also folded when you holding the keyfob? Thank you!

Yes, but fot this feature you need other codes (also for the windows)
The that I published are only for the roof.
Rememeber that my first firmware was from 03/07... so maybe at that year the roof was remote closing capable.

In a few hours I could publish codes for windows and mirrors.

Regards

Actually, i've tried the normal options on my E93 such as
ASP_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP (NFRM)
KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB

but the mirror doesn't take action when pressing the keyfob.

I'm looking forward to those ones you mentioned for mirror and window

Couple things.
for late model cars with the NFRM (FRM3) module. You have a line in CAS, FH_Komfort_MIT_Subst.

This needs to be set to aktiv along with the NFRM item. That should fix the folding mirrors and did on my 2010 1 series.

Closing the top of any late model convertible without comfort access is impossible. (FRM3 cars with CVM or CTM) I have scoured my own car's top module and tested entries that most folks have no idea about. (the values are things like wert_01, wert_02, etc) and what I found is that you can control window functions, interior button behavior, and remote control lowering of the roof. There is no specific setting anymore that allows raising of the roof. Believe me, I have tested every possible entry using NCSExpert and NCSDummy (to locate possible entry values) The answer, if it is really important to folks, is to install a Smarttop controller. They run over $300, but show up on Ebay for around $280. I chose not to install the Smarttop controller because I normally raise my roof whilst backing into a parking spot or letting the car idle down for a minute. I love the key fob roof lowering, and use it a lot.

Hope this helps folks. Feel free to PM me with questions!

That is the right code for convertibles, it enables remote mirrors and remote window operation.

The roof I don't now why it is not closing remotely with the new software. But as you can see in my video it could close remotely before dealer upgrade.

Regards

Jose,
The theory is that the newer software is programmed not to allow the closing unless you have Comfort Access. That is why older cars that had not been to a dealer in a while worked, and newer cars never worked at all.

Yes, this is my bet...

Furthermore, I notice these new parameters at CAS after leaving my car at the dealer:
NEW CODES:
PHP Code:
FBD_NO_LOAD_POS
    nicht_aktiv
PA_LF_PING_TAGE
    aktiv
PA_MAUT_CLOSE_SILENT
    nicht_aktiv
PA_SEARCH_HK_VORRASTE
    nicht_aktiv
PA_SILENT_TO_4TAGE
    nicht_aktiv
FH_RELEASE_TOP_ZWSTLG
    nicht_aktiv
PA_HK_2SEARCH
    nicht_aktiv
ELV_CCM_NEU
    nicht_aktiv
PA_LF_PING_PGS
    nicht_aktiv
HINTERE_TUEREN_MINI
    nicht_aktiv
OSFG_MSA_NO_KL15_AUTO_OFF
    aktiv
TC_KL15_AUTO_OFF_OSFG
    nicht_aktiv
TC_NOT_P_NO_KL15_AUTO_OFF
    aktiv
TIME_KL15_AUT_OFF_DR_OPEN
    wert_01
I am working on it again...
But I don't now the meaning of most of the parameters...

FBD = fernbedienung = remote key
PA = Comfort access I think

I think that I can achieve it again!

But I can close the windows remotely so It is not so important for me close the roof remotely now.

Regards

FB, FBD is the remote, and PA is comfort access. You are correct there. I have no idea what some of those settings do. They are different than things in my E88. I kind of gave up with being able to close the roof with the remote. (It does work if I use the valet key in the door) Everything else on my car seems to be working well, so just tuning lighting and stuff now.

I got it to work on my 2007 with no COMFORT ACCESS. The car has older software from 2007 and has never been updated! Here is the video

Smartop is still worth the money in my book - coding makes it better, but smartop with the one touch features and up down while moving is worth the extra cost in my book!
