I must say that I just don't think that the brightness of the LCI headlights can be achieved. Personally I know I'd be disappointed if I was to upgrade my GP Thunder to any LED halo bulbs as they are only marginally brighter it seems, maybe less so for the outer ring though, it looks pretty dim.
I'm considering changing back to OE honestly, the yellow bulb seems to make the car look a fair bit more aggressive. On another note, I saw both pre-LCI (OE bulbs) and post-LCI behind one another from a distance and the DRL halo's on the pre-LCI were noticeable from further away, I guess the human eye is drawn to the yellow colour more easily, especially obvious in bright sunlight. Not to rubbish these bulbs, by far the best I've seen but LCI FTW as the American's would say of you want that bright white light.

Ok
This kit it's superior without doubt to GP-Thunder and nokya 5000k In order to compare with the standard OEM H8 35W Osram/philips halogen Lamps only the outter ring is dim in the direct sunlight This pic is taken on 17pm on direct sunlight ![]()

I have a set like these and I think they aren't really upto the job as DRL's. Only something like OSS or the bravian X are upto this job, bit then the replicate the LCI OEM design. These do look the business when used with the Xenon light's compared to the halogen bulbs

has anyone got a photo of these compared to GP Thunder 7500ks?
Also a photo with it with the xenons on? I assume with you saying they dont dim, does that mean when you open the car and the lights come on to welcome you, the halos are at full brightness? Do they fade in still? |

Had these in for a few months now. Been fine, but today I got a failure warning of the right hand side light. Had a look when I got out of the car and sure enough it wasn't lit. Switched the car off and on and it came back on, no warning lights.
Strange - will have to see how it goes. |
