iPod Integration Options for 06 330xi w/ Nav?

Sup Guys,

I recently purchased my first BMW, a 06 330xi w/ nav idrive, Logic 7 and need some information on what's ipod options I have available. While I did do some searching I found myself a bit confused. I understand that there is a cable I can get that hooks up to the aux in the armrest. However, that isn't what I really want. I want to me able to scroll through my iPod utilizing the IDrive or steering wheel controls and be able to view what's playing on my Nav screen. is this possible?

I found these two ipod intergrations at Morristown BMW. When i contacted them, they sounded unsure whether it will work on my car. Can anyone confirm if this will work on my vehicle?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi what you need is a Denison 500 gateway . Do a search there is loads of info on it the forum.

How is the Denison gateway 500 any better or worse than the ones I have pictured in my original post. I noticed the Denison is not oem and is much more expensive.

Hi installed the denison gateway a few weeks back. It gets you ipod/phone and usb compatibility and loads very quick. I have no experience with the bmw oem kit but i believe from reading previous posts they take there time whilst loading the tracks.
