Whats up fellas!!!! Haven't been on here for quite some time! First off... this weather blows big ones!!!!

Second, my car got totaled in Feb of this year, had a 06 325i. I recently picked up a Pre LCI 335i about a month ago and just this passed Sat a truck backed up and dented the right drivers side fender and broke the driver side headlight!! With my bad luck, I wasn't able to see who is was and well now i have to come out of pocket!!! So where can i get a fairly cheap price on a headlight or is there an upgrade that I can buy and just get both headlights!! I am new to the turbo side and I will begin to mod these next few months.. Any help or pointers will work!!

By the way, when is the next meet???

Do you not have uninsured motorist coverage? If you do just have insurance cover it. That's what it's for.

I've seen some lights on the For Sale forum recently but I don't know if they're Pre LCI. You could always do a front LCI conversion

Welcome back man! You'll thoroughly enjoy the 335! Sorry to hear about the damage man, that sucks. I'd be glad to answer any questions you've got about mods/tunes to the best of my ability anyways I'll actually be down in SA tomorrow, maybe you'll see me rolling around town

Lol I know the feeling. I'd be stressed out too.

My car is getting a new hood, roof, trunk, both windshields, doors and fenders. Basically a new car. I'm going carbon fiber for the hood and trunk, and either wrapping the car matte black or having them paint it Frozen Black. I'll probably have the car back in mid August.

So my new hood and decklid arrived today (!!)
Since it'll be at least a couple weeks before I can get in to the shop I wanted to at least test fit them before the car goes to Trade Secret. I got the hood swap mostly done but it still needs some adjusting to get the fitment where I want it. If anyone happens to be in the area sometime this weekend and is knowledgeable about hood/trunk swaps could I buy you a few beers to come and help me out with the trunk? You can meet my badass dogs and see the carnage of Hailpocalypse 2012 up close and in person!

Does anyone happen to have a spare lower mesh grille for the passenger side of the front bumper they're looking to part with? I was behind a truck that kicked up some tire debris on the highway and it broke a piece of the mesh and knocked off my tow hook cover.

I dont.. but I feel your pain. My front window got hit by a huge rock yesterday driving N on the Tollway.

Thankfully it's only a $100 deductable to replace it.

On another note, anyone going to C&C tomorrow?

Guess ill go ahead and throw my technical question out there as well...(car is a 2008 328i cpe) Has anyone here ever had their "add coolant" light/symbol come on? I was driving home from ftworth yesterday morning and it popped on. Stopped at a gas station, looked for leaks and found nothing. So i just went in, grabbed a 1liter bottle of water and used about 3/4 of that until the bobber was flush with the top of the neck on the reservoir. Should i be worried?

i had that before, just poured some more coolant in and didn't have any problems again. mine happened at like 16k miles.

Just under 58,000. Reason i was worried is because a tech at my work told me it shouldnt be using up coolant and that i probably have a small leak somewhere. I checked everywhere the eye can see and have yet to spot a leak
