Choosing an AMP for MS-8 setup please help
Damn you people. Now I have the bug. I want to buy a cheap amp for now to add to my MS-8. I'll spend more money later.
Set up is Base Stereo, MS-8, Jehnert Flatline Speakers, All speakers connected to MS-8. 2011 335d. CH1: FL through Jehnert Crossover CH2: FR CH3: RL CH4: RR CH5: Center Speaker DLS R424 Coax CH6: L 8" underseat CH7: R 8" So I saw these two little amps in my price point: Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4 Punch BRT 300 Watt Ultra Compact 4 Channel Amplifier Or Pioneer GM-D9500F Class-FD 4-Channel Bridgeable Amplifier I wanted to keep it around $150 but I can stretch a little. The wife is getting angry all ready. If you have another recommendation around this price point (I mean +- $15) I'd love to hear it. Jim Jim |

this is off topic but i think you should have your under seats on ms-8 channels 3 & 4 and your rears on 6 & 7. i read somewhere that this is how it should be hooked up.
regarding your amp, im not too sure. hopefully someone else can help. |

I was going to do that and I ended up going with a JL xd600/6 right away. Id recommend you get an amp that you plan on keeping, otherwise you'll end up upgrading not long from now anyways.

MS-8 outputs can be configured in whatever speaker assignment that you would like. There is no "correct" way.

Look at refurbished Kenwood XR-4S or vibe litebox 4 if you're on a budget.

Will do. Definitely have to stay south of $175 for now so please respect that when you offer an opinion. Like I said I'll upgrade later, that's not an issue. The issue is paying much more than $150 NOW.
