Torque Wrench

Can anybody recommend a reasonable cost Torque Wrench which will measure NM and lb ft?
In the BMW Jack Kit for the E90 the torque wrench is marked 130NM.
My cheapo lever type torque wrench indicates that it is set too low.
To satisfy myself I need to get another torue wrench.

I got one from Halfords ... good quality and reviews ... seems OK to me - about 70 IIRC

OP, my BMW jack kit wrench is marked 120nm, odd that yours says 130?

Any cheap, non cailbrated wrench is not going to be very accurate at all. 10 or 20 NM out easily at 120NM.

Even our calibrated ones at work are only accurate to +/- 5% (and thats when used at exactly 20 deg C).

Don't worry too much.

Many thanks for all your suggestions!
Always had a thing about wheel nuts. Ever since our Man. Dir. lost a front wheel on his Jag. He was a Mech. Eng. and believed it was due to greased threads.
Considerably damage to car, only. He was lucky!

Had a look in the boot, sorted the BMW torque wrench, and it is stamped:-
'HEYCO 6769683 130Nm'.
It is odd that yours is 120Nm.
Perhaps a 'facelift' change? Cheers!

AFAIK all BMW wheel bolts are torqued to 120Nm, and have been for a long time. Can't imagine why yours is 130.

I have a Silverline torque wrench in my tool chest, cost about 20 and has done me fine for a number of years.

I've got a Snap On one but it's old as balls and no idea when it was last calibrated. Prob never!
