My turbos just took the shit and I'm looking for some replacements. Can't seem to find anywhere that will ship to Canada. Anyone know of a place where I can get them from?

i dunno, all i do no is factory turbos plus install is about 5-6 gs at dealership

I use a Niagara address, it works well,$60 a year and drive down whenever I need to. Worth looking into. You can also use something like this Www.myusa.com which will forward the post to you.

You should be able to pick up a set of oem turbos for under $1500, and about 10 hrs of labour.

I'm in the same boat, HATE the waste gate rattle, the JB4 does help, but it's really annoying.

They quoted me 910 each turbo. Witch isn't all that bad considering how much the dealer wanted to charge me. Does that sound good or are they still too much?

My e93 has just shy of 108xxx km. I was told by the dealer that the turbos have been replaced once before in 2010. Does that sound normal? Let's say about 50xxx km ago. Is that the lifespan of the turbo? Regardless I'm probably going to pick these ones up and fix

Dude for $2000 you are going to spend, throw in another $1000 and get RB's!!! I believe you get some money back for your cores, something like $800.

Either way, pm Rob and get the scoop. The way people talk about their RB's I'd say you can't go wrong.

Heads up.
My '08 335x showed a service warning a week or so back. Bought a year ago certified with 30k miles with + 3 year warranty and service contract.
Anyway, local BMW service gave us a loaner today and said that BMW wants them to conduct a long series of test and report sequences on waste gate rattle as they may be considering a recall. He also said it looks like they were going to replace both turbos.

You can get some upgraded twins for $2000 as well if you want.

A recall would be nice because mine rattle like a bi**h. However, I know there was some sort of settlement / lawsuit in the U.S. but of course BMWNA is fighting it and they have retracted the extra warranty on doing this.

Something is strange , I have 120K on my car, been running 16 lbs of boost since early 2008 and have not touched my turbos, still running strong as I did a full 1-4th wot today all at 16 Psi

No, may cause a slight and I mean very slightly more lag, that's it
Get a 10 mm wrench and tighten them a bit, it you have a skinny arm, that is
