They are definitely there for IJE0S. Try clearing your cache. Someone else had to do that earlier.

I know Stage 2 maps suppress the catless DP codes, but do Stage 1 maps also do so? What about Stage 0 (stock mode) maps?

I think that's what he was asking, or at least, that's what I'm interested in!

The stage 1 and 0 maps are not designed for high-flow catalytic converters and could cause a check engine light.

As josh stated, if you are looking for a safer option for poor quality fuel the drive mapping would be the best option until you can refuel.

Or use ATR and select the o2 code suppression toggle for the stage 1 maps.

It was the stupid cache thing....Thanks guys...taking out my KN Filter and installing some DCIs then seeing if 4.02 Stage 2 + FMIC lives up to the hype...Im sure it will

When i drive steady at say 100km/h i have the pedal at the same position it feels like the engine "coffs" sometimes.
This is also felt when driving with the cruise control for say it's a flat road and then it comes a little slope and it "coffs" as the cruise controll let of the gas pedal.

I don't know how to explain but it feels jerky when going off the trottle and going on it slightly again(maby this is normal?) Not as smooth as when original or with stage 0 map.

I have the same problem with both V3 maps and V4 but when i try the stage 0 map it's all gone.

it feels very similar to the known N52 problem when it goes it's driven very lightly when the engine goes in to some kind of fuel saving mode.

Might be the transition from homogeneous to stratified fuel modes?

Just flashed for IJEOS Stage 2+FMIC Sport, the v402 def runs a lot smoother. Just seems more refined & much closer to a finished product

Saving the Aggressive mapping for the weekend so I can tear it up to the beach

Josh or Gary -- Any word on E85 being integrated when this gets officially released? OR can you at least comment on a low blend of E85?? ~20%

A simple md5 checksum indicates that the 4.02 beta maps differ from the 4.02 Alpha maps.

Team CobbTuning: what are the differences between the alpha and beta maps?

+1 would like to know if I need to re-flash with the "new" 4.02

What kind of power increase are users seeing from the stage 1+fmic vs the stage 1. Seems to recall some threads saying that the fmic map was making less power than the stage 1. I'm still waiting to see the dynograph from Cobb.

Stage 1 + FMIC makes ALOT more power than stage 1. It has been qouted to make more power than Stage 2 (not s2+)

Its likely a change of data which occurs in the transition from Alpha to Beta.

Thanks. So you are basically saying its making about 340+ whp based on the Cobb dynos. If so that is decent. I will try it out.

Dear Cobb,
I don't notice the oscillations with IJEOS stg 1+ Agressive, stock throttle, AT in v401. Do you think I will notice any change simply changing to v402? Thanks!

Just give it a shot, what do you have to lose? I made a custom map with V401 as the base for a guy that didn't have boost oscillations, i gave him another map today which is based off the V402 mapping and he said it feels MUCH smoother.

Hard to spit out dyno numbers since they depend so much on conditions (especially with our cars) but i can tell you that looking at the maps the stage 1+FMIC runs significantly more boost than stage 1. I would think stage 1 to stage 1 + FMIC would yield atleast 15-20 whp if not more. Not to mention the added benefits of less heat soak. DME starts reducing timing and load targets when Charge Air temperatures (CAT) elevate, which reduces power alot. A FMIC will prevent the CAT from climbing so high, this really improves the consistency of the power output.

This was not the case with v401, with back to back tests on a customer car at Cobb's own dyno. Look for Dr Dirt's dyno runs he posted. The TQ numbers at low rpm for stage 1+ were higher than stage 1 v301, but the power dropped off real fast and was lower at higher rpm, by a lot. I hope Cobb puts up some dyno runs of v402 or offers some explanation as to what was going on.

Having said that I put about 120 miles on v402 stage 1+ yesterday, really nice & smooth and cured some hiccups. Have IJEOS ecu. Did not get a chance to do any WOT runs (seething with cops around here all day for some reason).

Without knowing all the factors its hard to know exactly what happened in Dr Dirts case, but knowing our cars and how the DME operates i would assume the reason he made less power was because safety triggers established within the DME/Cobbs tune. If you ever get a chance to play with ATR you will understand what i am talking about.

Doesn't matter what the code is telling the motor to do if it can't do it, for whatever reason. I hope someone is able to dyno stage 1 vs stage 1+ back to back and prove you're right. Should not be all that difficult, FMIC does not alone do that much for v301 stage 1 (so no need to remove FMIC for a good comparison).

I am sure when final versions come out Cobb will want to put a dyno chart on their website, showing stage 1, 1+, 2, 2+ etc.
