idrive voice command button - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi guys. One of the 335 I looked at last week had the voice command button on the idrive controller dial but the car I ended up purchasing only has a menu button on the dial and the voice control button is on the steering wheel. Can someone explain the difference in these 2 systems?

Model years? I think some of the newer e92's had an updated idrive system. I heard you can retrofit the new controller but since I don't have idrive I never really looked into it. By the way, are your initials K.K.?

They were both 07 335i. Yes they are do we know each other?
