Odd Mod

Spotted this gti this morning and couldn't make up my mind on the exhaust. One set of pipes were dark and the other chrome (no it wasn't dirt!!). At a quick glance it looked stock, as you didn't focus on the second set of pipes, but when looking closer you could see the second set.

Such a deliberate decision to have two tone exhausts by the driver, much like the newer style VW/Audi alloys, so why not have two tone exhausts too .

I'm undecided (but leaning towards them looking a bit too odd).

Can't be 100% sure but did seems to be a purposeful tone-tone effect; could be wrong. If it is like you they then yes it's completely shite, cheap, lazy mod .

Wouldn't look too bad if all four were Chrome...maybe.

And nowhere near stock regardless. It's a MKV so there should be twin pipes to the left surely? MKVI gets one at either side. Either way it looks a bit shite.

I'd say the twerp is on his way back from his nearest Halfords after gazing into wankers window and buying these fake exhaust tips.
