Hi All,

just curious at to how long does the the GoPro HD last at tack with single charge and how long of video can you record with iPhone 4s before the charge or the space?

you can record 4 sessions on the Gopro at 1080/30 wide, without recharging. I carry a 2nd battery for clubs that run 5 or 6 sessions per day

True but I don't even bother recording the 1st session or last just because I don't push as hard. Even though 1080p isn't necessary, I prefer the narrower field of view as opposed to the wider 179 degrees with the 720p. 60fps is nice but not really doing any editing/effects.

I should clarify, I have a GoPro2 which has different "wide" modes than the GoPro I was running last year. The "wide" setting at 1080p seems similar to the older narrow 720p setting, it's not the really wide 180 degree one (that distorts views). Either way, one battery is good for 4 sessions/1 typical track day.

It also depends how long the sessions are.

Mine lasts about 3-4 30 minute sessions.

Where do you guys normally mount your GoPro?

i am working on a Headrest mount: will add pics when done, but looking to get a 2' delrin with 2 holes to tunnel the headrest and the 1/4' 20 thread screw for camera or mount anything on the other end.

why don't you get a cruisecam for ~$40?
