Does anybody know of a good shop for oil change/regular maint. in Santa Monica or West LA? I've used Santa Monica Autoworks before and they were ok but wondering if there are any other options i'm missing. Also looking for a tint shop if any west siders have a recommendation.
-Thanks.

What's a good place to get a cylinder misfire diagnosed and fixed in OC? How much should I expect to pay for new injectors or new coils?

Thumbs up Precision Motors: Fast 20-minute oil change in OC

I'm usually a DIY'er when it comes to basic maintenance, but just didn't have the time to do an oil change this week. So I yelped and found Precision Motors in Costa Mesa, they will do your oil change in 20 minutes, no appointment needed, for $100.

5-star rating on Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/biz/precision-mo...cision%20Motor

It costs $85 to buy an oil change kit and oil from Irvine BMW, so the extra $15 was well worth it. Great, fast, friendly service from the owner Scott and his crew.

just a heads up for anyone in the area looking for a quick oil change. Tell them Charles with the black E90 from E90post sent you.

Any recommended place to get an alignment done in chino hills, diamond bar, or walnut area. I heard of The wheels supply and performance auto express but was wondering if you guys had some other shops that you would recommend.

Good shops that know how to properly install tint in the reat windows with the dot matrix around the edges? I believe they have to be sanded down a bit to properly install tint

It may be a little more expensive than other places but they extremely good with working with dot matrix and are a joy to work with.

Try JC's Alingments in Huntington Beach

I just had a four wheel alignment at JC's on my 2007 335i and the service was great. I replaced my all four of my run flats about a week ago at America's Tire in Fountain Valley and noticed that my rear tires where worn really bad on the inside. They referred me to JC's and the alignment was $79. It took about an hour. It's a family run business and everyone was great to work with. Give them a call and make an appointment.

I can speak up for these guys as well. Great work, very friendly and work with you until you are 100% satisfied. Will be visiting them anytime I need non-dealer [warranty] related work.

Just went to BM Auto Inc. to get my Engine Valve Cover Gasket and Aluminum bolts replaced, as well as belt tensioner and idle pulley changed.

All for $525, its not a fancy shop but it gets the job done.

Go see Hann at STM.

www.stmsolutionsinc.com/

He's done two of my cars and no dot matrix issues. Many others claim the same.
