Is this the part of the servo motor that typically fails? (I think I know exactly what you're referring to) However....It could be that if we strengthen that gear, it could potentially find the next weakest link. Maybe that gear can help preserve the gearbox. Obviously worthless if you're destroying it on a monthly basis though.

Quite a bit of good info in the threads on the AWD section, we've discussed the XI drivetrain quite a bit.

IMO, there really isn't enough information to suggest a weak point yet since many failures are with stock units. Basically when you break it, then take it in for a tear-down and they can help us with stronger versions of what has failed. I didn't want to be the first 335xi to find the limit, but I've got an addiction to speed and can't help myself

I've got a TNT this Friday to see what the car will run with nitrous + FBO + Meth, after that I'll do a dyno to see what the AWHP is.

Plus E85? Haha, not sure if you'll see any more gain but figured I'd ask anyways

I run E85 daily at a 40% mixture with 93 octane, but for the track visit I'll be taking 5 gallons of VP105 assuming I can get it. The track has VP pumps, but the last few visits the unleaded pump has been empty or broken (unleaded race fuel is hard to find around here, everyone runs leaded).

I'm in the same boat as Tahoedr, offered my car a few times via PMs, emails to shiv, emails to sales at vishnu and mostly ends with radio silence. At least there are two local Xis waiting to be test vehicles as soon as Shiv is ready

I talked to a representative of odometer gears, about a month ago. They mentioned having an upgrade for the ATC300 already a few weeks from having completed the R&D. If someone would like to investigate, be my guest. They should be done with R&D by now.
