A bumpstop change is not necessary

I would call around and see if you can find someone more reasonable in your area to do the job.

i just installed the perches and started bottoming out on PS V2 suspension, or i think its bottoming out. basically i hear a thump over speed bumps and feel the steering wheel turning to a particular side too, really strange, then i turn the wheel to the other side and it straightens out. so i looked at the dampers and have less than 0.5" suspension travel in the front.....should i trim the bump stops of my BMW ps v2?
its really annoying, crashing sound then wheel pulling to the side. i read that i need 1" suspension travel in the front |

i trimmed the top 1/3 of bump stop but it didnt help.
whats was happening is the top of the spring was binding to the half-moon protruding portion of the perch. talked to the Supreme Perch Team, they said it was install, but springs only go in one way, so go figure. you should take out the alignment pin while you are at it, gives you that extra negative camber everyone is looking for. |

We did notice on some cases the spring welded onto the perch...the half moon as described below did interfere with the spring. This could happen for a number of reasons since not all springs are wound exactly the same way. We gently tapped the welded spring on the perch down and instructed a few customers to do so and some noise issues went away. All perches shipped out now are automatically checked for this and adjusted from our warehouse. If you prefer to get another set let me know and I can send them out to you. Thanks
