I bought a procede off of some one on the forum. How do i get it unlocked?

Depending on what version you have, the VIN might be locked. You'll have to mail it to Shiv to reset it so it's no longer locked w/ the previous owner's car

It doesnt need to get sent to Vishnu. He can send you a firmware file to load to it to unlock it plus the unlock fee.

Unlock fee?? Shit, sounds like OP got a raw deal. Shouldn't that be the responsibility of the seller? How does that work?

thats why we are selling them cheap. retail price is like 795$ for a procede compared to the jb4's 5xx?

Ah ok, I just have no idea how they work. Why is a Procede so locked down? Does it work differently than a JB? More like a Cobb perhaps?

In terms of installation, it's more like a JB but locked to a vin.

JB4 + PROcede are both plug-in tunes. PROcede Rev3 are VIN locked & require Vishnu to "un-marry" them. The JB4 isn't VIN locked. The COBB also isn't VIN locked, but the AccessPORT can only be married to one car at a time (prevents someone from flashing the DME & then selling it while the car still has a tune installed).
