Should I lower my car more? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Im new to this modding stuff and Idk If I should go an inch lower on my car? would that be possible If I get H&R springs?

To me your car looks stock yes you should lower it springs won't be bad I think you will need after market struts/shocks If you go with springs if you has the money get coilovers

You don't need them but I have heard that you may not get the best ride quality if you are riding on after market springs and oem/stock struts and shocks I don't have any suspension on mine so I can't confirm this 100% I am sure someone on here can shed some light.

+1 on getting it lowered. If you bought it then you should definitely do it the proper way and get coil overs or shocks/struts to avoid damage to stock parts in the future. However, if you leased just throw on some springs on it. Nice car btw!!

to me your car looks lowered already. I have eibachs on mine and they are pretty good. Just throw on some bigger rims and go from there.

+1. Then again many will tell you they ride just fine on stock struts. But I would imagaine the OEM shocks would wear more quickly.

...depends on how much lowering you're talking about here.

YES if your roads allow it and you're not happy with your current ride (for whatever reason).

NO if your roads are bad, cuz you'll be slowing down everyone behind you.

Lower it on h&r sports. It won't be too much, and it will sit more or less flush.
