E92 lip spoiler opinions please!!!!
Hey guys,
relatively new and looking to draw on some expert knowledge. I'm looking for a lip spoiler (preferrably M3) for my black 58 e92 as I think it just finishes the car nicely. Not a massive modder but got a few subtle things in mind. I've had a look on ebay as i dont really want to shell out for this but there are a few that look tempting. Only problem is they tend to be from taiwan or somewhere like that. Has anyone bought from here or elsewhere and can recommend? Cheers guys ![]() Last edited by smacg; 08-08-2012 at 06:57 AM. |

I and many others on here have bought the M3 lip from Teddy at ssdd motorsport. I also have a black e92 and it looks brilliant on it and I can't tell the difference between it and the OEM one.

Bought mine from eBay (Taiwan) and to my surprise, given the price, it was a really nice product. The colour match was perfect.

Cheers Phil325i, that looks really good.
Greg330, that is one i have been watching and thinking about. Have you fitted it to the car? If so could you post a pic? I did look at the UK seller one and bought it but when it was delivered it looked more for the E46 as it was more square. |

An e90 (not e92) in my case, but I've fitted one of the BC Moto ones from ebay after recommendations on the forum. £45 delivered & painted, no complaints at all. Fitting was perfect match to the bootlid so quality seems perfect to me.
Colour is very very slightly different but only if right up close and you know to look - to the casual looker it's not noticeable. I'm hoping a machine polish on the bodywork will sort that: 75k miles on a 57-plater and needing it... |

Both my lip spoiler and roof spoiler were off ebay, paid about £50 for both delivered and painted. Been on the car for 12months, no problems at all .![]() |

Good colour match and easy fitment. I guess its up to you how much you want to pay, but at £40 I think its a steal and I doubt you'd be able to tell it apart from OEM..... |

In the end, i went for the £40 off ebay from BC moto. £40 painted with free delivery and it arrived in 5 days. Very pleased with the quality and I'd say its impossible to tell the difference.

yeh, im really chuffed with it. proper bargain considering what OEM plus painting costs.
Think thats me done with the mods now. quite happy with the black grills, de-badged and lip spoiler. Considering CSL reps but need to look after the pennies first. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=261085228062 thats the link for anyone interested |
