Oh hell no. I wouldn't the moment you said smoker, even if she was the most responsible driver on the planet.

NO!!!

I'm not letting my sister drive my car, ever. She'll probably be going 5 under, be texting while driving, all while blasting One Direction with all the windows down. She'd probably run it out of gas and put 87 in it, too.

I don't have a sister. Then again, I'm apprehensive about letting my mom borrow my car(s).

I guess it really depends. But in my situation, I wouldn't let my sister borrow my 335. I'd be nice and offer to let her take the convertible or one of my other e46's but not the 335i... I'm paranoid about someone taking the 335i and messing something up.

The only person that EVER borrows my car is my dad, because he can pay for it if he breaks something, and because he knows just as much about the car as I do. (he always works on it with me)

In my defense, I had a bad experience. My older sister took my old car (2G Acura TL, lowered with OEM lip kit etc etc). I come back to my front lip destroyed. She went to the groccery store and pulled in too far, making love with the curb.

In my defense, my car is on the 4th floor of a parking garage right now with really big concrete dividers that you have to ease your way around when exiting. In my 5% tint she wouldnt be able to see how close she's getting to the sides. Even with rolling down the windows you just have to know how wide your car is when taking those turns. There are scratch marks all on the sides of those dividers from previous cars hitting them.

Plus you have to exit the garage at an angle so you dont scrrraaaappppeeeee. Things she wouldnt think of to do because she doesnt have that issue with her honda.

+1 on the scraping. Another reason I don't let people borrow my 335, cause they don't know about going over bumps at an angle and front lip/ bumper gets scraped up.

See I feel bad dont get me wrong but I also know she wont pay for a repair if she scrapes or scratches my car. Ive loaned her a pair of black heels and she broke one of the heels and bitched at me when I told her to repair it or buy me new ones. Took her a over month before I got those shoes back, can you imagine if she scratched my car?
