Yep. That dip can be noticed depending on how you are on the throttle.

You won't have any issue with this. The power still feels very linear and refined for DD. You just adjust your throttle position and the car will have no problem as a DD. Even if you WOT, it isn't jerky at all and very smooth. Just feels like "turbos" have kicked in

TBH, I don't have plans for modding this car anymore. I had a nudget on what I would be willing to put in this car and I have reached it. If I do decide to do it, I will have to sell a mod off my car

I also use this car as a DD and am worried about the drone, excess noise that will be created on top on my PE when going catless. The additional power gained from it is very tempting, but not sure if it is right for me.

Thanks bro. Proper dynos for sure is the key. Even more, a baseline dyno is extremely important. The only way to see how a mod works on a car is to see how that car acted before the mod.
Just wanted to show the community what these cars truly are capable off and not just go by assumptions etc.

Happen to notice you are in Canada too. Where did you find your parts for manifold conversion? The original parts are quite expensive.

Bought them used from a auto shop in the states. New parts definately are expensive.

Kind of curious what ONLY the stage 2 tune can do to a 325i with charcoal filter delete, K&N drop in, and scoops.

Finally glad to see actual dynos.

Dude your AWD puts down the same power as my RWD and our mods are the same minus the PI........ I hope that is just the difference between the different dynos

Nice numbers. Good to see the AA tune gave you an extra 15ft/lbs and lots more torque everywhere. Bet it drives much better and feels great

On our in house dyno our 328 showed no hp drop up to 7000 rpm. I think the dyno operator may have set the dynos max rpm to around 6500 or so.

Probably around 200 with just an intake and tune is what you can get.

Yeah find out I bet you could make a couple more hp up top.

The dyno temps between the first runs you did compared to the later ones like you stated in the first post make a pretty large difference I wouldn't be surprised if you made 5-10 more in the same climate.

You have one strong n52 congrats

Really like how AA smoothed out that DISA dip.

DESI4life10, I found a DISA that been salvaged off a flood damaged 330i. Should I risk it? How did you verify that the DISA actuators worked??

The price is competitive and in Canada, no border fees

I think the AA tune results will be similar with the DISA smoothing and slight increase, the HP numbers will be different since n51 has different compression.

I would not worry about exhaust and intake as much.
K&N and charcoal delete is popular for intake modding

To get anywhere with exhaust you have to cut out cat converters: headers or secondary cat delete
